Most of it was useful. Some of it was forgettable.<\/p>\n<p>But then August 2023 happened.<\/p>\n<p>I was at an AI conference in Stanford \u2014 one of those events where the room is full of researchers, doctors, and technologists all trying to figure out what AI actually means for the real world. The conversations weren&#8217;t theoretical. People were talking about AI finding patterns in medical data that humans had missed for decades. About how the right model, trained on the right data, could surface an insight that changes a business \u2014 or saves a life.<\/p>\n<p>I remember sitting there thinking: why are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meii.ai\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\">enterprises<\/a> still not doing this properly?<\/p>\n<p>After Stanford, I went to events by Salesforce, TechCrunch, and a few other heavyweights in San Francisco. Each one sharpened the same thought. AI wasn&#8217;t coming. It was already here. And most businesses were either ignoring it, or worse \u2014 using generic off-the-shelf tools and wondering why they weren&#8217;t getting real value out of them.<\/p>\n<p>That frustration became the seed of Meii AI.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"the-name\"><strong>The Name<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>MEI comes from Tamil \u2014 it means &#8220;The Truth.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That wasn&#8217;t an accident. When I was thinking about what we were actually building, that word kept coming back to me. Not insights. Not analytics. Not intelligence. Truth \u2014 the kind that comes from your own data, your own context, your own business reality.<\/p>\n<p>Every enterprise already has the answers somewhere inside their data. They just can&#8217;t get to them fast enough, or easily enough, or without depending on a developer every single time. That&#8217;s the problem we exist to solve. And MEI \u2014 The Truth \u2014 is the standard we hold every single thing we build to.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"the-opportunity\"><strong>The Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Here&#8217;s something that still surprises me: most enterprises in 2026 are still using AI that knows nothing about their business.<\/p>\n<p>They plug in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meii.ai\/insights\/how-large-language-models-work\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\">general-purpose LLM<\/a>, ask it a question about their operations, and get a generic answer. Then they wonder why AI isn&#8217;t delivering the ROI they were promised.<\/p>\n<p>The problem isn&#8217;t AI. The problem is that off-the-shelf models were never trained on your data. They don&#8217;t know your customers, your workflows, your metrics, or what a &#8220;good month&#8221; looks like for your business.
